My blood cousin Joe also known as Joe-be came out with a mixtape called The Resume. Joe always rapped but hes a funny dude so no one took him seriously. I remembered when he first told my sister and I he was coming out with a mixtape, we laughed because hes Joe and is always joking. But then we went on his Youtube Channel and heard his song "Aint asking for much" and were amazed. Joe is not only a funny dude he's a smart talented young man & I'm proud he's my cousin. Its nice to watch a person grow and start their journey to their dream. I cant wait to watch his growth. Love you cuz. One day I'll be saying "hey thats my cousin on tv" haha.
Last week my best friend and I went to a casting call for Essence Magazine. The winner gets a cover of Essence Magazine in September 2010 and a one year contract with Elite Model Management. I did horrible at this casting. They asked me only 3 questions and I was literally in there for 30 seconds, while other girls where in there for 5+ minutes=/. My personality didn't show at all, which sucks since I've been told I have a great one. I know I just looked like a tall shy girl to them but I'm so much more. But I'm keeping my head held high, one day I'll be laughing at this but for now I'm on to the next one :).
