I already have my news years resolution(s) in my head. I’m actually starting one now. The other ones could wait. I already did a post a few weeks ago on one. Which was me exploring my city more (New York City). I live here and don’t take advantage. I feel like some people who just moved here explored NYC more and I’ve being living here for 20 years (my whole life). Don’t get me wrong I know my way around. Tell me where you need to go and I know which train will take you there…or I can just google it ;). But anyway I want to go to more museums, restaurants & etc. I also want to stop saying I’m going to do something and I don’t do that. I can’t even count how many times I said I was going to do something and I didn’t. Its ridiculous. I can’t talk the talk if I don’t walk the walk. I don’t know where I get that from because my family are the type of people that say when their going to do something, they do it. My other resolution was to read a book once a month. I love reading and I’m very picky when choosing to read a book. My sister can read a book in one day if she wanted. I always buy books and she always finishes reading them before me. I’m actually starting that now by reading Lauren Conrad’s book. Very typical but she is an inspiring person. But my usual genre for books is mystery, action, drama, love, fictional, biographies and science fiction, so if anyone has recommendations let me know :)

Hey Blogspot, I haven't come on this since August. I'm mostly on tumblr.com at mylifeasangela.tumblr.com I have more followers on that and I feel like I get more feedback from that website rather than this one. I don't mind that I don't though. I neglect my blog way tooo much. But who ever does come I'll let you guys know what I've been up too. I'm turning 20 in a few weeks (yikes). I'm currently taking summer classes to make up for my missed semester. I'm also looking for photographers, stylist, & makeup artists to help me update my modeling portfolio. (IF ANY ONE KNOWS PEOPLE IN THESE FIELDS EMAIL ME AT APHILITAS@GMAIL.COM) I want to be signed to a modeling agency so bad! Just so I can make a change and live out my DREAM. The fashion industry is so closed minded. Even though there are slowing coming around its not happening fast enough. Anyone who looks at me clearly knows i'm not plus sized but according to the fashion industry i am! And that's crazyy ! But i do want a change it will be amazing to see different races of all sizes and colors to grace the covers of top fashion magazines. Instead of super skinny white girls. Those women are beautiful also don't get me wrong but a change is in need. I hope one day i can say "i was on the cover of vogue". But until then I'm working my butt off, its hard because I'm trying to balance out school because i do want to be a journalist and i also have my own personal problems.But I'm keeping my head up and trying my best and taking one day at a time so that my dreams do come true. I WILL BE A SUPER ROLE MODEL. Just wait and see but until then watch me grow. 20 things to do in your 20's

The fact that I'm turning 20 in two months really just hit me.I can remember when I turned thirteen and was able to say I'm a TEENAGER. I'm now coming to that point in life to say goodbye to my teenage years. I'm never the type so say life is a joke. But I can tell you that i never took it super serious. Everyone who knows me, knows I'm a joke-ster and all I want to do is have fun.I have my serious moments but I'm mostly a free spirit. Now that I'm coming to that age where I think about stuff like how might have kids in the next 5 years, or be married, have a career, leave my parents home. When i think about this I have a bitter sweet feeling, like damn no more bullshitting, no more slacking, etc. This life is what you make it. I plan to make my life something to talk about and remember. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

You don't have to go to church to be religious or believe in god. I'm a proud catholic and this may sound bad to some people, but I dont like going to church. I rather pray in the comfort of my own home by myself. I'm extremely religious, even the people closest to me wouldnt know that. My favorite bible verse is 1 corinthians 13:4-8, I would LOVE to get this verse tattooed on me but its way to long but I have an idea of how to shorten it without removing anything...stay tuned for that tattoo.
